Alexandra Carroll
​Speech-Language Associate

Alexandra is a Speech-Language Associate and a member of CDAAC. She completed her graduate certificate as a Communicative Disorders Assistant at Durham College with Honours. After completing her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Toronto, Alex has found deep fulfillment integrating her musical skills and techniques in therapy, using them to support clients reach their communication goals. She is dedicated to ensuring that every client not only feels supported but also has the tools they need to succeed and feel more confident in communication. Alex has gained experience in diverse clinical settings, including March of Dimes, St. Michael’s Hospital, and Durham College’s Kids Speech and Language Clinic, where she’s supported a variety of unique populations. Alex has also taught English as a Second Language for mature students living in South Korea, and has Completed Levels 1 and 2 of Seneca College’s certified American Sign Language (ASL) courses. Alex also has a deep interest in audiology and is in pursuit of completing her Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) diploma with George Brown College. When Alex isn’t working, she loves painting and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
