I am a British Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with over 10 years’ experience working both within the NHS and privately in Central and East London. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents who present with learning, language and social communication difficulties. My approach to speech and language therapy is to see the child or young person holistically, ensuring that speech, language and communication are seen as central to their development and general well-being.
I have a particular interest in language delays and disorders, Development Language Disorder (DLD) and Autism. I have worked extensively in school settings with students with specific speech, language and communication difficulties. I have worked closely with school staff to advise and aid modification of the curriculum with a focus on spoken and written language and social and emotional development. I am able to offer clinic and home visits and tailor the input to the individual child and family. When I’m not working, I’m an avid reader, keen cook and love nothing more than globe-trotting! |
